Neymar da Silva Santos Junior is a Brazilian professional footballer born on 5th February 1992 in Mogi das Cruzes, Sao Paulo, Brazil. His father is Neymar Santos Sr. and his mother is Nadine da Silva. Neymar Jnr is a single father and has a son called Davi Lucca da Silva Santos.

Neymar Jnr plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team. He is widely regarded as one of the best players in the world.

Neymar Jnr began playing for Santos FC youth academy in 2003 when he was 11 and made his professional debut at the age of 17. He helped the club win two successive Campeonato Paulista championships, a Copa do Brazil and the 2011 Copa Libertadores. Neymar was named twice South American Footballer of the Year in 2011 and 2012, and in 2013 he went to Europe to join Barcelona. As part of Barcelona’s attacking trio with Lionel Messi and Luis Suárez, he won the continental treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League, and finished third for the FIFA Ballon d’Or in 2015 for his performances. He then attained a domestic double in the 2015–16 season.
